Admission 2016: List Of Schools That Have Released Admission List

As most institutions have announced and conducted the 2016/2017 admission screening exercise, the next thing to expect from such institutions is the announcement of admission lists.

Bearing that in mind, we wouldn't want you to be misinformed or be in the dark with regard to this.

We are therefore creating this thread and dedicating it to providing information and updates on the release of admission lists. That means that the admission list of your choice institutions will be on this thread the moment it is announced. This thread will be updated regularly as each of the schools releases admission lists.

It will be in your best interest therefore to visit this thread regularly as to know when your institution has released the 2016/2017 admission list.

IMPORTANT: If your name appears on the list of 2016/2017 admitted students in any of the schools, you are advised to check if your admission has reflected on JAMB's website (If it has not reflected, check it regularly as it may be validated any time) and then request for your jamb Admission Letter when it becomes available. This document authenticates your admission.

The acting Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Anthony Elujoba, who is under investigation over alleged diversion of N1.4 billion of the university's fund, ran into trouble by drawing the remunerations of a substantive holder of his office, investigations have revealed. Mr. Elujoba and the university's bursar, Aderonke Akeredolu, were on Tuesday in Ibadan quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over the allegation. He was appointed acting vice-chancellor for a period of six months with effect from July 21. The UK Embassy in Nigeria has adopted a new visa application p rocess, the British High Commission said yesterday, in a s tatement . The spokesperson of the commission, Joe Abuku, described the new process as a slight change in which "Visa staff now only‎ n eed electronic versions of support documents." The new process, which takes effect from December 5 for c ustomers applying for a UK visa in Lagos, Victoria Island and I keja, would bring applicants benefits from digital improvements to the UK visa application process. FUTA VC arrested for hitting staff with car.

‎The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, Prof. Adebiyi Daramola, has‎ reportedly been arrested by the Ondo state for hitting a s taff of the institution with his car. According to the reports, the victim, Abiodun Ademola Atunbi , who is a member of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of the ‎ institution, was hit at the main campus of the school at Oba'nla in A kure on Monday, November 28. Punch reports that members of staff were reportedly gathered t ogether to pray when the incident occurred. An officer from the Okuta Elerinla Police Station is reported to have arrested Prof. Daramola not long after the accident took place.
